Tell us about the horse you’re riding.
Her registered name is Lil Peppy Valentine but we call her Sammy.
What has been your horse’s biggest win this year and of all time?
My horse’s biggest win was at Zanesville when she ran a 15.5.
What’s your ultimate goal in barrel racing?
My ultimate goal in barrel racing is having the best run to our ability.
I run in a Bob Marshall Sports Saddle.
What bit is in your horse’s mouth?
I use a long shank with a rope noseband.
What supplements do you feed?
The supplement she gets are equine bone for bones and joints.
What is one thing you won’t leave home for a barrel race without?
I wouldn’t leave the house without my helmet because I’m not allowed to run without it.
To whom do you owe most of your success?
I owe most of my success to my grandpa Doc Greuey and my aunt Kerri Greuey. And Peyton Theado and Morgan Henning are great friends and supporters!
Tell us one fun fact about you and your horse.
Me and my horse were born in the same year and we are both 12 years old. She hates most of the geldings she sees and a lot of men.
What charity is closest to your heart?
The charity that is closest to my heart is the MS walk because my grandpa’s cousin has MS.
